Data retention policy

This policy explains how long eRevolutions typically retains categories of information connected to our website, client portal, enterprise hosting, and eCommerce engineering engagements. Periods may be adjusted where law, contract, or legitimate security and dispute-resolution needs require a different duration.

1. Purpose

Retention balances client service continuity, legal and regulatory obligations, security investigations, and your expectation of privacy. When retention ends, we delete or anonymize data where feasible, subject to backup and archival cycles described below.

2. Client portal accounts

  • Active accounts: Profile and authentication data are retained while your account remains active and for a short period after closure to complete any pending operations.
  • Closed accounts: After you request closure (or we terminate per terms), identifiable account data is generally deleted or anonymized within 90 days, unless a longer period is needed for legal holds, unresolved billing or disputes, or ongoing service wind-down.
  • Subscriptions and requests: Records of subscriptions, package changes, and support or service requests may be retained for the life of the engagement and up to seven (7) years after the relationship ends where needed for contract enforcement, tax, or regulatory records—often in aggregated or minimized form after initial periods.

3. Contact form and general inquiries

Messages sent through our website or direct email are typically retained for up to three (3) years from last activity unless a longer period applies for an active opportunity, contract, or legal matter. Attachments follow the same principle unless they are incorporated into a client file with longer retention.

4. Uploaded files and attachments

Files you upload (e.g. with service requests or contact forms) are kept for as long as needed to fulfill the request and for a reasonable period thereafter for quality and dispute resolution, generally aligned with the relevant subscription or project retention above. Technical copies in backups may persist until those backup sets expire.

5. Email and messaging logs

Operational email logs (e.g. delivery status for transactional mail) may be retained for twelve (12) to twenty-four (24) months for diagnostics and abuse prevention, unless a shorter period is technically enforced by our systems.

6. Security and technical logs

Server, application, and security logs are typically retained on a rolling basis (e.g. 30 to 180 days) depending on system design, unless extended for incident investigation or legal process.

7. Backups

Deleted data may remain in encrypted backups until those snapshots rotate out—commonly up to 90 days—after which restoration of individual records is no longer practical.

8. Anonymized or aggregated data

We may retain statistics that do not identify individuals for analytics and service improvement without a fixed expiry.

9. Requests for deletion or export

To request deletion, correction, or a copy of personal data we hold (subject to applicable law and contractual limits), email contact@erevolutionsindia.com from the address associated with your account or inquiry. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and may need to verify your identity.

10. Changes

We may update this policy to reflect operational or legal changes. The "Last updated" date will change accordingly; substantive updates may be announced via the website or portal.
